I’m Julia Larkins, an illustrator who attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. My illustrations are inspired by fantasy, featuring fairies, unicorns, mermaids, and other fairytale elements. I draw inspiration from the natural world and enjoy giving it a fantastical spin, creating universes full of giant mushrooms and miniature towns. I primarily use traditional media to give my work texture and mimic the surprises found in nature. My story inspiration comes from fairytales, and I aspire to create magical stories for others to get lost in.
